1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Vocado mobile application ("App") or visiting our website at vocado.pro ("Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Vocado.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Vocado. By using our services, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
2. Description of Service
Vocado is a voice-first productivity application that provides:
- Voice recording and AI-powered transcription
- Note organization with tags and search
- AI text polishing and rewriting features
- System-wide floating overlay for voice input
- Quick sharing to other applications
- Optional cloud sync between devices (Power plan and above)
3. User Accounts
To use Vocado, you must sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
Vocado offers free and paid subscription plans with different usage limits:
- Free: 15 minutes per month for transcription and AI features
- Starter: 60 minutes per month for transcription and AI features
- Power: 180 minutes per month for transcription and AI features, includes Web Access
- Pro: 540 minutes per month for transcription and AI features, extended features
Paid subscriptions are billed through Google Play. By subscribing, you agree to Google Play's terms of service. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Unused minutes do not roll over to the next billing period. Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use Vocado to:
- Record or transcribe content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
- Violate the privacy or intellectual property rights of others
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use automated systems or bots to access the service
- Resell or commercially exploit the service without authorization
6. Intellectual Property
Your Content: You retain ownership of all audio recordings, transcriptions, and notes you create using Vocado. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the transcription and sync services.
Our Property: The Vocado app, website, branding, and underlying technology are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without permission.
7. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.
8. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
- Perform maintenance that may temporarily affect availability
- Limit access during high-demand periods
Transcription accuracy depends on audio quality, language, and other factors. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
VOCADO IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times. Use of the service is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF VOCADO.
Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using Vocado and delete your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Data stored locally on your device remains yours. Cloud-synced data will be deleted according to our data retention policy.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Austria. EU consumer protection laws apply where mandatory.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on our website or in the app. Continued use of Vocado after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

3. Nutzerkonto
Um Vocado zu nutzen, müssen Sie sich mit einem Google-Konto anmelden. Sie sind verantwortlich für:
- Die Sicherheit Ihrer Kontodaten
- Alle Aktivitäten unter Ihrem Konto
- Sofortige Benachrichtigung bei unbefugtem Zugriff
4. Abonnements und Abrechnung
Vocado bietet kostenlose und kostenpflichtige Abonnements mit unterschiedlichen Nutzungslimits:

- Starter: 60 Minuten pro Monat
- Power: 180 Minuten pro Monat, inklusive Web-Zugang
- Pro: 540 Minuten pro Monat, erweiterte Funktionen
Kostenpflichtige Abonnements werden über Google Play abgerechnet. Abonnements verlängern sich automatisch, sofern sie nicht vor dem Verlängerungsdatum gekündigt werden.
5. Geistiges Eigentum
Ihre Inhalte: Sie behalten das Eigentum an allen Audioaufnahmen, Transkriptionen und Notizen, die Sie mit Vocado erstellen.
Unser Eigentum: Die Vocado-App, Website, Marke und zugrundeliegende Technologie sind unser Eigentum und durch Urheberrechts- und Markengesetze geschützt.
6. Haftungsbeschränkung
VOCADO WIRD "WIE BESEHEN" UND "WIE VERFÜGBAR" OHNE GEWÄHRLEISTUNGEN JEGLICHER ART BEREITGESTELLT. Wir übernehmen keine Haftung für indirekte, zufällige, besondere oder Folgeschäden.
Unsere Gesamthaftung ist auf den Betrag beschränkt, den Sie uns in den zwölf (12) Monaten vor dem Anspruch gezahlt haben.
7. Anwendbares Recht
Diese AGB unterliegen österreichischem Recht. Streitigkeiten werden vor österreichischen Gerichten verhandelt. EU-Verbraucherschutzgesetze gelten, soweit zwingend vorgeschrieben.
